Nevada Educational Computing Strategist (ECS)
When: May 16-17, 2008

Why: The mission of K ?12 Instructional Technology is to facilitate appropriate and innovative uses of technology in support of Clark County School District curricular goals.
Each school in Clark County School District is assigned an Educational Computing Strategist, a licensed teacher with experience in professional development and using technology in a classroom. The ECS is responsible for helping teachers integrate technology into their curriculum, keeping records, maintaining the school’s LAN, inventory, and basic troubleshooting. ITS is responsible for supporting the ECS’s. An advisory committee of ECSs and ITS personnel meets regularly to determine training needs and help with support issues.
